Kingston, Jamaica – May 28, 2009: Digicel Jamaica, the Caribbean’s fastest growing network, will reward its customers with free call credit each month, with its new Air Time Loyalty programme. The Loyalty Redemption Programme, which will become effective May 29, rewards customers for using their Digicel phones by giving them even more talk time free, each month.
Digicel prepaid customers will earn 1 loyalty point each time they make a $100 credit top up on their Digicel phone while postpaid customers will earn points daily, based on their call usage and subscription fee. Most pre and postpaid Digicel customers already have loyalty points in their accounts, and once they have amassed 100 points, they can redeem them by dialing *131*value requested # SND i.e. *131*100# SND. 1 point equals J$3 and customers will be credited with a one-time redemption of J$100 per month.
“Digicel continues to develop products and services that offer value for money to our customers,” says Head of Marketing Wayne Miller. “Digicel Airtime Loyalty Redemption has been introduced so that customers who do not wish to purchase a new phone may still be rewarded for their loyalty with free call credit”.
Customers can check the number of loyalty points they have earned by texting the word ‘points’ to the service number 444-2402. They can also continue to redeem loyalty points for discounts on phone purchases. Airtime can be redeemed once per month and the credit received is valid for 30 days.
